You can use the pen tool in PowerPoint, but it is not where near as smooth and robust as the Mimio annotation. That doesn't show the whole page I want, so for years I've clicked 'Only the selected frame' and gotten what I wanted to print. When I open a site in Internet Explorer and click Print Preview it only shows 'As laid our on screen'. The disadvantage of this is the inability to bring up the dock with the Mimio Stylus.Ģ. But in Edge I can't even find Print Preview. Do this before you maximize to get the largest window. You may want to hid your dock if it is a distraction. You can click on the annotate button to draw on your slides, etc.ġ. Now when you click on the slide with the stylus it will advance the presentation. Your computer will stay in mirrored mode and the slide show will be in a window. Choose "Browsed by and individual (window).Ĥ.

This gives you your slides on the projector screen and the annoying timer and next slide screen on your Mac.ġ. Even if you are mirroring your display, it automatically extends your desktop when you start the slide show. However, something funny happens when you run a PowerPoint on a Mac. This works well with the Mimio since you can control everything with the stylus on the screen. In all likelihood your Mac defaulted to mirroring your desktop on your video projector screen.

It does occur in OSX 10.7 and Powerpoint 2011. I have discovered that this problem with Powerpoint does not occur in the standard school installation of OSX 10.5 and PowerPoint 2004.
